John Hewell is retired from 26 years in the not for profit world of fund raising. He is currently enjoying a retirement job as branch manager of the Salem Library in Salem, SC. He and his wife Brenda, who is an avid quilter, live in Walhalla, SC.
John has always has had a lifelong love of things mechanical. He has worked on more little British sports cars than he can count and currently owns too many MG Midgets. When Brenda's quilting passion took them to Paducah a few years ago, John spied his first Featherweight and fell in love with the little machine right away.
