- Remember that the printed pattern is a mirror image of the
design. You will be placing your fabric on the unprinted side and sewing
on the printed side of the letter pattern.
- "B" means background fabric and "M" means main fabric that you
pick for the letter.
- Cut a strip of the main fabric 2 ¼" x 17". From this strip cut:
- two pieces for the legs of the "A" about 6 ½" long
- use the remaining 4" strip for the cross piece of the "A"
- Cut a strip of the background fabric 4 ½" x 20" From this strip cut:
- two 6 ½" pieces for sides
- two 2 ½" pieces for bottom center and middle section
- two 2 ¼" pieces for bottom corners
