I made this quilt for my husband after he spotted the design hanging on a wall at our local JoAnn Fabrics. He has a great love for quilts and deeply respects the work that goes in to them. If I need a extra hand, he is always there to help. We all know what it’s like to take a simple fabric, get out the scissors, rotary cutter, needle, and thread and then start to sew. When we see the finished quilt and give the love that went in to making it away, it makes it all worth it, especially when that special some one truly loves the gift. What is that old saying “Love is only Love when you can give it away.” And a quilt is truly a blanket of love. It is hand quilted in the center and machine quilted on the outside boarder.
