Silk-screened dyes and inks on cotton; machine sewn, machine quilted.

I have been working on the Block series for several years. They are composed of a series of 7 3/4 inch square blocks that are created by printing different patterns in both dyes and inks on fabric. I draw the patterns on the computer, and then use the computer drawings to make photo emulsion silk-screens. There are many inconsistencies in the process and I am always surprised by the results.
