One Of My Favorite Quilting Books is Around the Block
with Judy Hopkins.
Publisher: That Patchwork Place, inc., 1994
This great pattern book is wonderful for those who enjoy
traditional designs as it presents each block with various measurements. It saves
a lot of math work, and provides the quilt designer with very clear cutting
instructions. 200 blocks are presented in this book; and another 200 are available
in Judy's sequel: Around the Block Again. I have many quilting books
but this is the most dog-eared, as I've used it for teaching purposes as well as
for my personal quilting. This is a real workbook which you will use often
Try it the next time you see a pattern you like, but wish to make in a different
size.
