Would you like to do a project easily and quickly? “Stitch and Split Appliqué” has 12 raw edge projects and is a great book for creating a quilt that is “fresh, fun,” and “truly on the edge of Quiltmaking.”

The idea is simple: “cutting shapes and stitching them one on top of the other.” Then, “cut the shapes into sections, rearranging the pieces and sew them back together.” The designs that Jayme Crow and Joan Segna have created are fun and exciting. This is not your average raw-edge appliqué. It is a great twist on a fun method. I cannot wait to try one of these projects, there are houses, flowers, leaves, pears, stars, and hearts, just to name a few of the many designs and variations in this book.
