Marie Schmidt, of West Union, South Carolina, entered her quilt, "Watercolor Wreath", into theQuilterCommunity.com January Quilt Of The Month Contest and won a wonderful collection of fabrics from Classic Cottons.

Every other month, www.thequiltercommunity.com has a Quilt of The Month contest, where members can enter their favorite quilt to win a great prize sponsored by various shops and quilting companies. Visitors to the website then vote on their favorite, similar to the viewers' choice at a quilt show.

Marie was encouraged by a friend to enter her quilt in the Quilt Of The Month contest, where Classic Cottons supplied the prize of $150 worth of their fabrics. Lo and behold, when Marie won and received her fabrics from Classic Cottons, she was very pleasantly surprised to find (in her mailbox one day) 4 yards each of 10 different fabrics, and also a whole bundle of fat quarters, worth well over $300! Needless to say she is a very happy quilter.
