Founder's Award
I made this quilt as an expression of the best patchwork quilt I could do. I
added the rose motifs because I felt it needed something besides red piecing
work. The most difficult part was to arrange the color of the appliqued
flowers. It made me wonder how I could balance the colors with the red pieced
parts. I became full of energy doing this work from beginning to end.
