This was my first quilt (the double knit one I made in the 70s doesn't count!). I used the angel from the Marianne Fons and Liz Porter's book, "Quilter's Complete Guide" I added some variations of my own for the angel's hair. It is fused applique, machine satin stitch around the shapes, and machine quilted. I pieced the top and a friend of mine, Dori Hawks machine quilted it. The quilt will go to my niece's baby daughter, Ashley.
