The original design of this quilt evolved out of a challenge given to our guild last year. We were to use complimentary colors and the quilt had to be something other than square or rectangle. Many of the shapes and designs within the quilt were inspired by architectural elements and flowers in my garden. The words on the front are the Latin of the title of the quilt.
