Ten projects are included in this book, which include some unusual shapes in a compact book with simple directions. If you haven’t made any of the very popular fabric bowls or boxes, this book will give you a good introduction to the processes.

Author Yvonne Perez-Collins uses fabrics, colored art papers, vinyl, felt, and tulle to make the boxes and bowls, adding trims like fusible ribbon, buttons, silk flowers, and decorative ribbons to embellish the finished projects. These additions make for some unique shapes and looks for these vessels. She also uses various stiffening agents to give the bowl or box its’ shape.

These projects can be used for gift boxes for that special present for a very special person. Use them to thank your hostess the next time you are visiting. Make them in fabrics to compliment the gift or the person receiving the gift.
