Brooklyn Revolver™ II by Come Quilt With Me, Inc.

I tried the new Brooklyn Revolver™ with a gray Omnimat™ cutting surface on one side and an ironing surface on the opposite side, and I Love It! I think it is great for both cutting and pressing. It is small enough that it doesn't take up a lot of space, but big enough to get a 9" block on it to square up.

It is great with templates, as you just rotate the cutting mat, instead of going through the contortions I used to have to go through to cut fabrics using templates. The Brooklyn Revolver™ II has a 14" diameter rotating table with an eight chrome ball bearing base with four rubberized feet that moves around like a lazy susan on your dining room table. It has a smooth rotation and a self-healing mat. The ironing surface is a 100% cotton silicone-coated ironing board. The cover has an elastic binding and is replaceable. It is stain and scorch resistant with a synthetic flannel pad. It also comes in a 9" diameter size.

This is a great tool to have. Check with your local quilt shop, and if they don’t carry them, ask them to order one for you.
