Veronica Cox is the owner of Bear Thread Designs, which is the manufacturer of The Appliqué Pressing Sheet. Veronica was taught to sew by her grandmother at the age of 4 when she learned how to put on buttons. She then learned how to use the sewing machine by sewing her index finger; she has been sewing ever since. Veronica was introduced to quilting 13 years ago, by her mother-in-law and has taught many classes and workshops since that time. She has given programs for local quilt guilds in her area, and traveled all over the U.S. doing demos of The Appliqué Pressing Sheet for thousands of quilters at quilt shows. Veronica even did a special demo of the technique on a quilting cruise sponsored by Round Bobbin in October 2002.
