I am entering a quilt I made for my aunt for a Christmas present.
It is called 'Hearts and Flowers' and the pattern is by Dorothy
Clark of Chocolate Coated Fabrics in Australia. She advertised
in the Australian Patchwork and Quilting Magazine early this year
and I contacted her by email to get the pattern and materials.
Each block is a different technique of patchwork and although
there were 16 blocks, it was the quickest quilt I ever made
because I couldn't wait to get to the next block. The pattern
was for a wall hanging 48x48, but I added sashing and borders
to make it a double bed sized quilt 79x79.
I live in the UK, I am a member of an International group of
Quilters which began in Düsseldorf.
