45" x 54"

The pattern is "My Snowman Quilt" by Prairie Grove Peddler. It comes in two sizes - 45" x 54" and 23" x 27". The one I made is 45" x 54". The fabric is 100% cotton and I used the iron on grid backing and ironed all the squares to it. Then I sewed the rows across and then the rows up and down. I used polar fleece as the batting/backing. The mittens, leaves and carrot nose are hand appliqued. The leaves were the hardest, mostly because of the quantity and size. The berries are little red buttons and the eyes are big black buttons.

It was fun making and there were times when I needed four hands and that is when I enlisted my husbands help.

I have a collection of all kinds of different snowmen and wanted a quilted one. I have a few other snowmen wall hanging patterns that I want to make.
